What is this, in plain words?
Imagine a patient, friendly teacher sitting next to you while you make something real on your computer. They don't just do it for you — they explain each step, let you make the calls, and gently check that you understood. That's dronAIcharya.
The short version
Lots of tools today will write computer code for you. You get something that works, but you have no idea how or why — so the moment it breaks, you're stuck. Other tools will teach you, but only with tiny practice exercises that never turn into a real, usable thing.
dronAIcharya does both at once. It helps you build a real piece of software — a little app, a website, a tool — and while you build it, it teaches you what's actually happening, in words you choose: simpler, or deeper, whenever you like.
The name comes from Dronacharya, a legendary master teacher famous for teaching archery. The idea is the same: a guru who helps you take aim, and makes sure the skill becomes yours.
A bit like a cooking class with a chef
You're the one cooking. The chef stands beside you, explains why you add the salt now and not later, lets you taste as you go, and asks a quick question to be sure it clicked.
It explains first
Before anything is built, it tells you what you're about to make and why — in plain language.
You decide
At the important moments it stops and asks what you want. You're always in charge.
It checks you got it
A quick question here and there, so the understanding sticks — not a test, just a nudge.
Things you can say, any time
No special commands to memorise. Just talk to it normally.
“Explain that more simply”
It will re-explain like you're five, with everyday examples.
“Go deeper”
Want the full picture? It will dig into how it really works.
“Skip this”
Not interested right now? It moves on. No lecture.
“Pause” or “just do it”
It always listens. The teaching never traps you.
A few honest promises
It never spends your money or signs you up
When it's time to pay for something, publish, or put in a password, it stops and hands that step to you. You always do the final click.
It doesn't phone home
No tracking. The secret key you use for the AI stays on your own computer — it never gets sent anywhere.
It can't promise you'll never get stuck
It works hard to keep teaching instead of taking over, but it's a helper, not magic. When you want it to just teach, say so — and it will.
It's a great start, not a diploma
The quizzes are just to help it stick. They're not a certificate, and the computer-science track covers the foundations rather than a full university degree.
Curious? You don't need to be technical to start.
dronAIcharya runs inside a coding assistant called Claude Code. If that's new to you, the docs walk you through getting set up, one small step at a time.
